About Haleh Rambod, MFT
I am a marriage and family therapist (MFC 42996); I received my M.A. in Counseling Psychology from Institute of Transpersonal Psychology. Since 2001, my clinical career has been focused on counseling children, adolescents, parents and individuals regarding personal, emotional, behavioral, educational, cross cultural, and crisis issues. I have received California Credential for Pupil Personnel Services from San Jose State University in 2003, and since then I have helped college aged individuals with their career and educational choices. My extensive training has enabled me to guide parents, couples, individuals and teens to manage life challenging issues and make healthy life style choices. In addition I am a certified hypnotherapist and have helped clients with test taking anxiety, and stress management. I have also received training in sand play therapy, Jungian Psychology, and dream analysis, and have recently completed two trainings in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) provided by Laurel Parnell.

Training, Credentials, and Memberships
My experience working with a wide variety of people with whom I have established helping relationships, has provided me the ability to deal with most issues. I obtained my masters in counseling psychology from Institute of Transpersonal Psychology in Palo Alto, CA. I also have obtained my California Credential in Pupil Personnel Services from San Jose State University in San Jose, CA.
I have received training in Sand Play Therapy from Marvin Kalf, in Zurich Switzerland and in United States.
My training in Jungian dream analysis has been through teachings of Jeremy Taylor and I also have Co-Facilitated Dream Workshops with Jeremy Taylor.
I am a Certified Hypnotist and have received training in Clinical Hypnosis.
I am trained in Crisis Counseling and have been a volunteer crisis counselor at Try-Valley Haven, and AASRA.
